Raymond Kathe Joins Bank of North Georgia

Carrollton, Ga., - Bank of North Georgia announced today that Raymond A. Kathe has joined the bank as Senior Vice President and Community Executive. Kathe’s office is located at 115 College Street in Carrollton.

Kathe has more than 30 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Bank of North Georgia, he worked as a Senior Vice President with First Commerce Community Bank in Douglasville for five years. Previously, he served as Group Vice President in the West Metro Commercial Lending Division at SouthTrust Bank in Atlanta.

In his new role at Bank of North Georgia, Kathe will serve as a team leader supervising the commercial lending professionals at the Carrollton Commercial Center and the supervisor for three branches in Carrollton and one in Bowdon.

Kathe is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned a BBA and MBA degree in finance. He is currently an executive board member of the Better Business Bureau of Atlanta, member of the Douglas County Kiwanis Club and member of Midway Macedonia Baptist Church. Kathe resides in Villa Rica with his wife, Bonnie, their two daughters, Anne and Priscilla, and their son, David.
